Please Read Carefully
DoseAnchor is a medication reminder and management tool only. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional medical care. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions.
Not Medical Advice
The information, content, and features provided by DoseAnchor — including medication reminders, dosage tracking, refill alerts, and any other functionality — are intended solely for organizational and reminder purposes. Nothing in DoseAnchor constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
You should never use DoseAnchor as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the guidance of your physician, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding your medications or medical condition.
No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Use of DoseAnchor does not create a doctor-patient relationship or any other healthcare provider relationship between you and DoseAnchor, its team, or any affiliated parties. DoseAnchor is a technology tool, not a healthcare provider.
Medication Information Accuracy
DoseAnchor relies on the medication information you enter manually. We do not independently verify, validate, or cross-check any medication names, dosages, schedules, or instructions you input. It is your responsibility — or that of your healthcare provider — to ensure all medication information entered into the app is accurate and up to date.
Errors in medication data entry, including incorrect dosages or schedules, are solely the responsibility of the user. DoseAnchor is not liable for any harm resulting from inaccurate information entered into the application.
Reminder Limitations
DoseAnchor provides reminders as a convenience tool only. We cannot guarantee that reminders will be delivered at all times or without delay due to factors including but not limited to:
- Device settings, Do Not Disturb modes, or notification permissions
- Internet connectivity issues
- App updates or technical interruptions
- Operating system changes or device compatibility
- Server downtime or maintenance
Do not rely solely on DoseAnchor reminders for time-critical medications. Always maintain independent methods of tracking your medication schedule, especially for medications where missed doses could have serious health consequences.
Emergency Situations
DoseAnchor is not designed for emergency use. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately. Do not use DoseAnchor to seek emergency medical assistance.
If you believe you have taken an incorrect dose or are experiencing an adverse reaction to a medication, contact your healthcare provider, call Poison Control (1-800-222-1222 in the US), or seek emergency medical care immediately.
Drug Interactions and Contraindications
DoseAnchor does not check for drug interactions, contraindications, allergies, or other medication safety concerns. Always consult your pharmacist or physician before starting, stopping, or changing any medication. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or tracked in DoseAnchor.
Use by Caregivers
If you are using DoseAnchor to manage medications for another person — including a family member, dependent, or patient — you assume full responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of all information entered and for coordinating with that person's healthcare providers. DoseAnchor does not assume any responsibility for medication management decisions made by caregivers using the app.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DoseAnchor and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Reliance on any information provided through the app
- Missed, delayed, or incorrect medication reminders
- Errors in medication data entered by users
- Any medical decisions made based on app usage
- Technical failures or service interruptions
Consult Your Healthcare Provider
Before making any changes to your medication regimen — including starting new medications, stopping existing ones, or adjusting dosages — always consult your doctor, pharmacist, or other licensed healthcare professional. DoseAnchor is a tool to support your healthcare routine, not to replace the expertise of medical professionals.
