The problem we’re solving
Most medication reminder apps are built for one person reminding themselves. Families need something different: the parent gets a simple reminder, and the people who worry about them can see whether the dose was confirmed — without calling every morning to ask.
DoseAnchor reminds the person taking the medicine, logs each dose, counts down to refills, and — on Premium — alerts a family member if a dose is still unconfirmed after 30 minutes, escalating to backup caregivers at 60 minutes.
What the plans will include
- Free: 1 patient profile, up to 5 medicines, dose reminders with follow-ups and quiet hours, dose logging (taken, skipped or missed), pill count and refill reminders, appointment reminders, stats and a shareable health summary, a one-tap “I’m Okay” check-in, and 1 caregiver who can view the patient’s medicines and doses.
- Premium ($4.99/month or $39/year): multiple patient profiles, unlimited medicines, up to 3 caregivers per patient, a missed-dose alert to the primary caregiver about 30 minutes after a dose goes unconfirmed (push and email), escalation to backup caregivers at about 60 minutes, low-stock emails, a daily summary email every evening, caregiver alert controls, a full refill dashboard, and CSV export of dose history.

What DoseAnchor is not
- Not a medical device, and it does not give medical advice, suggest doses or check drug interactions.
- It cannot confirm a pill was swallowed — it relies on the person tapping “Taken”.
- It needs the person taking the medicine to have a smartphone.

Who is behind DoseAnchor
DoseAnchor is founded and built by Haseeb Sagheer, a software engineer based in Pakistan. Haseeb designs and develops the app and writes the caregiver guides on this site.
