Why We Built DoseAnchor
The inspiration for DoseAnchor came from a common experience: watching family members struggle to coordinate medication management for aging parents. Adult children wanted to help but didn't want to micromanage. Parents wanted to maintain independence but needed support.
Existing medication reminder apps were designed for individuals taking their own pills, not for family members trying to help from a distance. They lacked the coordination features, caregiver alerts, and family-friendly design that real caregiving situations require.
We built DoseAnchor to fill that gap. It's a tool that respects everyone's needs: seniors maintain their autonomy with gentle reminders, while family caregivers get the visibility and alerts they need to provide support without constant check-ins.
